Abstract (en)

The disposable plate or bowl (1) is of a wood veneer material which has not been treated chemically, and which is shaped in a press without cutting. The edge (2) is bent upwards from the base, with an undulating rim (3) which is formed during pressing. The wood veneer material has a residual moisture content of 4-12%, and the press shaping action is set according to the veneer type and thickness.

Ein teller- oder schalenförmiges Wegwerfgeschirr (1) besteht aus spanlos hergestelltem und chemisch unbehandeltem Holzfurnier. Es wird durch Formpressung hergestellt. Es hat einen Biegerand (2) der entlang des Umfanges eine besondere Wellenform (3) aufweist. Die Wellenform (3) des Biegerandes (2) ist im Umfang auf die Materialstauchung des Holzfurniers bei der Verformung des Biegerandes (2) abgestimmt. Die Vorteile bestehen darin, dass eine rissfreie und stabile Verformung möglich ist, dass das Wegwerfgeschirr biologisch abbaubar ist und dass praktisch alle Holzsorten verwendet werden können. <IMAGE>
