The container (1) has a plastics inner container (2) enclosed by a outer grid mantle (13) formed from vertical and horizontal metal grid rods (14,15) and a pallet base (20) with a standard length and width. The upper ends (17) of the hollow profile vertical grid rods are pressed flat and formed into a wave profile for welding to an upper edge profile (19) having a flat top edge (44) for supporting the pallet base of a stacked container.

Der Transport- und Lagerbehälter (1) für Flüssigkeiten weist als Hauptbauteile einen Innenbehälter (2) aus Kunststoff, einen äußeren Gittermantel (13) aus sich kreuzenden horizontalen und vertikalen Gitterstäben (14,15) aus Metall zur Aufnahme des Innenbehälters (2) sowie ein palettenartiges Untergestell (20) mit euronormgerechten Längen- und Breitenabmessungen auf. Die oberen Enden (17) der vertikalen Gitterstäbe (15) und der Doppelsteg (37) des oberen Randprofils (19) des Gittermantels (13) sind durch Buckelschweißen im Kreuzstoß an sechs Schweißstellen miteinander verschweißt. Das obere Randprofil (19) des Gittermantels (13) weist einen oberen, flachen, umlaufenden Rand (44) zum Abstützen der Eck- und Mittelfüße (23-30) des palettenartigen Untergestells (20) eines aufgestapelten Palettenbehälters (1) auf. <IMAGE>
