The roll (1) has a jacket (22) containing at least one pressure chamber (9) with a hydraulic fluid input (10) and a hydraulic fluid output (14) offset from each other. There is a pressure setting device (12, 16) to enable the pressure of the hydraulic fluid to be set as required. The flow path between the input and the output pressurizes at least 50% of the volume of the pressure chamber.

Es wird eine Rollenwicklerwalze (1) angegeben mit einem Mantel (22), der mindestens eine Druckkammer (9) mit einem Druckfluid-Eingang (10) aufweist, wobei eine Druckeinstelleinrichtung (12, 16) vorgesehen ist, mit deren Hilfe der Druck des Druckfluids in der Druckkammer (9) einstellbar ist.
