[origin: EP1439143A1] The stacking process involves taking the printed products (28) to a pre-stacking shaft (20) with an input from a device (12) supplying the added sheets (14). There is a shaft (36) below this which can turn 180degrees on its axis (38) to take a part stack (34) from the pre-stacking shaft. Each part stack can be formed in the pre-stacking device on an added sheet, so that in the complete stack (54), the part stacks are separated from each other by it.
