Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1439567A2] The electrode consists of a pen like shaft (7) with a head (8). The electrode forms a vessel (9) for an emitter at the area of the discharging end. A bore is provided in the vessel and filled with emitter material. The vessel forms a collar at its discharging end face. The inner collar part is bent in a convex manner towards the bore. The outer collar part is bent in a convex manner towards the side wall of the vessel.
