Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1439615A2] The plug-and-socket connector (10) includes a housing (12), in which contact elements are provided. The housing is fixed to the socket (50) using holding devices (18). A locking member (14) that can be moved axially is encompassed by a sleeve like sealing body (22,24), which protrudes the socket in the plugged in state and seals the plug-and-socket connector.
