[origin: EP1439733A1] The microphone protection device (1) is used to at least partly cover an opening on the outside of the hearing aid and has a ring (2) with bridges (4) spanning the opening, whereby the outer diameter of the ring corresponds approximately to the inner diameter of the corresponding opening, so that the ring can be at least partly introduced into the opening. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a hearing aid with an inventive device.
