[origin: WO03037704A1] The invention concerns a system for transferring a fluid product between a fluid transport vessel and a storage vessel. The system is of the type comprising a tubular arrangement (5) for conveying the fluid between the two vessels (1, 2). The system is characterized in that the tubular arrangement is provided in the form of a flexible transfer pipe (5) hanging freely between said ends in its transferring position connected to a manifold device (9) of the transport vessel (1) and each of the ends of the transfer pipe (5) is provided a pivoted connection with vertical pin (8, 26) so as to avoid torsional stresses in the transfer pipe. The invention is useful for transferring liquefied natural gas.
