[origin: WO03029534A1] The invention relates to a spinneret for melt spinning a plurality of extruded filaments. Several internal parts, which comprise at least one inlet piece (2) and a spinneret body (3), are distorted in relation to each other inside a housing (1) by means of a screwing means. Said inlet piece (2) forms a melt inlet (5) and the spinneret body (3) forms a melt outlet by means of a plurality of spinneret holes (4). The aim of the invention is to obtain a self-sealing between said internal parts in operation. Said aim is achieved, whereby an expansion body (8) is arranged between the housing (1) and one of the internal parts (6). Said expansion body (8) is made from a material, which has a thermal expansion coefficient higher than the housing material and, on heating, generates a force of pressure inside said housing (1) to permit a self-sealing distortion of the internal parts.
