Abstract (en)

A perforated conveyer belt runs over an suction unit and presents a leading edge feed of a paper web to a printing machine. The web lead is fed especially over the curved perforated surface (13) by a first perforated roller (11), and is surrendered from the perforated belt to a second roller. The perforated belt runs over a slotted (21) guide surface (20) which also forms part of the suction unit maintaining contact between the paper web and belt.

Bei einer Vakuum-Bandfördervorrichtung umfassend ein luftdurchlässiges, endloses Band (10) ist vorgesehen, dass das Band (10) im Bereich des stromaufwärtigen Endes der Fördervorrichtung in Kontakt mit einer gekrümmten und perforierten Führungsfläche (13,33) ist, wobei die Perforationen ebenfalls an eine Unterdruckquelle anschließbar sind. <IMAGE>
