Stranding machine comprising a base (1) on which an arc structure (2) can rotate around a stationary central structure (4) in which a bobbin (5) is rotated for winding a cable (6) pulled by one or more pulleys (7) and twisted with a double twist in the arc structure (2) during its rotation, said arc structure (2) comprising a pair of rotating guides (2a, 2b) mutually connected by an arc (2c) along which the cable (6) runs, characterized in that the first (2a) and/or the second (2b) rotating guide of the arc structure (2) are provided with a plurality of rollers (8) along which the cable (6) can run, said rollers (8) being mounted onto supports (9) suitable for being rotated around an axis substantially perpendicular to the rotation axis of the rollers (8) and to the portion of the cable (6) tangent thereto. <IMAGE>
