Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2831032A1] The applicator, attached to a container cap, consists of a rod (14) and an end comb (10) of identical cross-section, drawn through a scraper (32) with an aperture (34) of similar shape in a scraper (32) attached to the container to remove surplus material from the comb. The comb itself has at least one row of teeth, with gaps between them determined by the composition and structure of the cosmetic product so as to leave an appropriate quantity of the product on the comb as it is drawn through the scraper. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) method of making the cosmetic product applicator ; (2) applicator assembly; and (3) assembling method for the applicator assembly.
