[origin: EP1442685A1] The clothes hanger (10) is of a standard design and fitted with a hook-shaped extension (32) protruding from the upper surface of each of its arms (14, 16) for the insertion of loops (24) sewn to the waistband (22) of a garment in particular of a skirt. Before the loop (24) can be attached to the hook (32) it is guided along a v-shaped groove located inside the outer end (18, 20) of the arm (14, 16). The waistband (22) is tensioned, forming a straight line and creating a tidy impression of the affected area.
