Abstract (en)
A printing machine applies a mixture of two or more fluids to a paper web. The assembly has a first reservoir for the first fluid, a fluid supply for the second fluid and mixer vessel in which the two are combined and a reservoir in which they are held prior to application. The printing machine has a separate buffer tank for the first liquid. The buffer tank has a valve-regulated delivery tube to the mixer container (12, 14). The valve is operated by a control unit and maintains a continuous or quasi-continuous supply of concentrated silicon oil (1). A second valve is linked to the same control unit and maintains a continuous or quasi-continuous supply of water. Also claimed are commensurate processes to operate the assembly and apply the resultant mixture.

Eine erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung zum Aufbringen einer Flüssigkeitsmischung einer ersten Flüssigkeit (1) und wenigstens einer zweiten Flüssigkeit (16) auf einen bahnförmigen Bedruckstoff (24), mit einem Vorratsbehälter (2) für die erste Flüssigkeit, einer Versorgungseinrichtung (32) für die zweite Flüssigkeit, einem Mischbehälter (12,14) für die erste Flüssigkeit und die zweite Flüssigkeit, einer Auftragseinrichtung (20,22) zum Übertragen der Flüssigkeitsmischung auf den Bedruckstoff, welche wenigstens einen Behälter für die Flüssigkeitsmischung aufweist, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass ein von dem Mischbehälter separierter Pufferbehälter (4) für die erste Flüssigkeit vorgesehen ist. <IMAGE>
