Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1443012A1] Chain care rolls (38, 40) provided next to the sides of the chain roll (20) are used to support parts of the chain wheel during high load conditions. Two drive chains (24) are positioned on either side of a stepped or pallet belt guided along a runner rail (22). Each chain is associated with a chain roll which rotatably mounted on bearing journals (18) for the steps or pallets and which forms part of the chain.
