[origin: WO03041656A2] This invention relates to novel oral sustained-release formulations for delivery of an active agent (e.g., a drug), especially a highly water soluble drug. More particularly, this invention relates to novel formulations comprising a micelle-forming drug having a charge and at least one polymer having an opposite charge. Methods of using the novel formulations are also provided.
