[origin: WO03035521A1] The invention relates to a device for continuously winding webs onto winding shafts to form wound rolls (9), said device comprising arms that support the winding shaft, a pressure roller (38), which can be placed against the winding shaft or the wound roll that is forming and which is mounted in a machine frame, and a cutting blade (19) that severs the web when the roll is changed. The aim of the invention is to place the pressure roller (38) against the winding core or wound roll (9) in a low-friction, precise manner by means of a drive. This is achieved by the mounting of the pressure roller (38) on at least one coupling rod (31), which forms an articulated connection with two suspension arms (21, 25), whose other ends are pivotally mounted in the machine frame.
