[origin: WO03040677A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for blanking out interference noise during knock recording in an internal combustion engine. According to the invention, the following functions are carried out: formation of a sensor signal integral value (KI) during a temporal measuring window (MF) of the sensor signal of a knock sensor; formation of a correction value (DKI) for said sensor signal integral value (KI), corresponding to interference noise during the temporal measuring window (MF); and subtraction of the correction value (DKI) from the sensor signal integral value (KI) in order to form a corrected sensor signal integral value (KI') with blanked interference noise.
