The arrangement for the connecting of two terminating edges of panel-form elements (9,10) has at least one spacer (4) protruding from one edge and on its front face end is deflectable at right angles to the longitudinal extent of the panel-form element. At least one dilatation cavity (5) is formed between the two edges, and an abutment edge (3) is formed in the dilatation cavity and against it rests the spacer. With swelling of the panel-form elements and a reducing in size of the dilatation cavity the spacer is deflected to the side, moving in the direction of the dilatation space. An independent claim is included for a use for the arrangement of connecting ceiling or wall elements.

Zum Verbinden zweier Abschlusskanten von plattenartigen Elementen (9, 10) ist mindestens eine Nut-Feder bzw. Nut-Kammverbindung vorgesehen sowie ein Dilatationsraum bzw. eine Dilatationsfuge (5). Von einer der beiden Kanten vorstehend ist ein laschen- oder zungenartiger Distanzhalter (4) vorgesehen, welcher an seinem frontseitigen Ende quer zur Längsausdehnung der plattenartigen Elemente, d.h. seitlich federnd, auslenkbar ist. Weiter ist zwischen den beiden Abschlusskanten und/oder in der anderen Kante ein Dilatationsraum (5, 8) vorgesehen, in oder an welchem mindestens eine Anschlagkante (3) ausgebildet ist, an welcher der Distanzhalter (4) ansteht und an welchem beim Quellen der plattenartigen Elemente (9, 10), d.h. beim Verkleinern der Dilatationsfuge bzw. des Dilatationsraumes, der Distanzhalter in Richtung Dilatationsraum bewegend seitlich auslenkbar ist.
