Abstract (en)

[origin: DE10155678A1] The invention relates to a fixing device for a fuel injection valve (5) in a bore (3) in the cylinder head (1) of an internal combustion engine, said fuel valve (5) having a longitudinal axis (6). A fixing claw (20) is impinged by a fixing force. Said fixing claw (20) rests on a point of support (32) of the fuel injection valve (5) with at least one support surface (30) so that the fixing claw (20) is forced against the point of support (32) with the support surface (30). The point of support (32) is configured as a linear structure on the fuel injection valve (5), said line being straight and intersecting the longitudinal axis (6) of the fuel injection valve (5) in its imaginary prolongation.

[origin: DE10155678A1] The clamp, to lock a fuel injection valve (5) in the drilling (3) through the cylinder head (1) of an internal combustion motor, has a clamp paw (20) with one support surface (30) against a bearing point (32) on the valve housing, and tensed to press against it. The bearing point is on a straight linear line, with its theoretical extension intersecting with the longitudinal axis (6) of the fuel injection valve.
