[origin: WO03042938A2] The invention relates to a method for conducting a transaction on a system, which comprises at least one central processor platform, at least one wallet server, and at least one payment server. The central processor platform, in turn, comprises a routing engine that is coupled to the wallet server and to the payment server via a communications connection. The inventive method involves the following steps: receiving a transaction request at the payment server or at the wallet server; routing the request from the payment server or from the wallet server to the central processor platform, and; operating the central processor platform in order to conduct the transaction.
