Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1447032A1] The cash desk (1) has a bow front and a flat worktop carrying the keyboard, bar code reader and other equipment. There is a niche (3) to accommodate goods just beyond the end of the conveyer (2), which has a belt (6) to move the goods along. There is a space for trays behind the conveyer belt. The end of the conveyor may project beyond the end of the portion with the shelves.
