Machine tool comprises a form stamp (9) arranged in a first tool half (1) and displaced by a pressure device in the direction of the second tool half (2), and a form hollow body (3) arranged in the second tool half and containing a form hollow chamber (5) filled with active medium and supporting a billet (7). The billet is clamped on its periphery between a holding-down device (8) provided in the first tool half and the edge (4a) of the form hollow chamber. The surfaces of the holding-down device and form stamp acting on the billet are each formed by an exchangeable insert (8c, 9c). The form hollow body has an exchangeable insert (4) filled with active medium whose edge interacts with the exchangeable insert of the holding-down device to clamp the billet.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine aus zwei Werkzeughälften (1, 2) aufgebaute Werkzeugmaschine zum Außenhochdruckumformen von Platinen (7), insbesondere zum Herstellen von Wandpaneelen, mit einem in der ersten Werkzeughälfte (1) ausgebildeten, in Richtung der zweiten Werkzeughälfte (2) über ein Druckmittel verschiebbaren Formstempel (9c) und einem in der zweiten Werkzeughälfte (2) ausgebildeten, mit einem Formhohlkörper (3,4), in dem ein mit einem die Platine (7) abstützenden, druckbeaufschlagten Wirkmedium gefüllter Formhohlraum (5) ausgebildet ist, wobei die Platine (7) an ihrem umlaufenden Rand zwischen einem in der ersten Werkzeughälfte (1) vorgesehenen Niederhalter (8c) und der Berandung (4a) des Formhohlraums (5) einklemmbar ist. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die auf die Platine (7) einwirkenden Flächen des Niederhalters (8) und des Formstempels (9) sowie der Formhohlkörper (3,4) jeweils von einem auswechselbaren Einsatz (8c,9c,4) gebildet sind. Dadurch ist eine kostengünstige und schnell durchführbare Umrüstung der Werkzeugmaschine zur Modifikation der Werkzeuggeometrie bzw. der Werkzeugoberfläche möglich. <IMAGE>
