The removal tool (20) has a long base body (23, 24, 25, 26) with a pull-out tip (28) narrowing forwards for cutting into the plug. At the other end is a handle (23) for rotating the tool. The pull-out tip is at least in some sections in the form of a steep truncated pyramid (28.1). The tip may be of square cross section.

Ein Ausbauwerkzeug (20) zum Extrahieren von spiralförmigen Gewindeeinsätzen umfasst einen länglichen Grundkörper (23,..,26), an dessen einem Ende eine sich nach vorne zu verjüngende Ausziehspitze (28) zum einschneidenden Einführen in den zu extrahierenden Gewindeeinsatz, und an dessen anderem Ende Mittel (23) zum Drehen des Ausbauwerkzeugs (20) um die Werkzeuglängsachse vorgesehen sind. Bei einem solchen Ausbauwerkzeug wird ein Ausbau der Gewindeeinsätze durch Inspektionsöffnungen hindurch auf einfache und sichere Weise dadurch ermöglicht, dass die Ausziehspitze (28) zumindest abschnittweise die Form eines steilen Pyramidenstumpfes (28.1) aufweist. <IMAGE>
