Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1447211A2] The corrugation process imprints transverse corrugations in endless webs of card, particularly multilaminar corrugated card with cover papers on both sides. Both sides of the foldable material are deformed by corrugating rolls (1, 2) carrying corrugating tools (11, 12, 21, 22). The spacing of two grooves on opposite sides corresponds to the fold length of the material.
