Abstract (en)
The roll, e.g. a jockey roll (1), has a thin-walled, galvanically treated roll jacket (2) which is held at both ends by shaft journals (3, 4). Reinforcing elements in the form of reinforcing rings (5) are fitted inside it. These rings are made of a lightweight material, and are glued into the roll jacket at a spacing of 1.8-4.5 times the diameter of the roll.

Walze, insbesondere Tänzerwalze, für eine Wickelmaschine mit einem dünnwandigen, galvanisch erzeugten Walzenmantel (2), der beidseitig von Wellenzapfen (3, 4) gehalten ist und in den Versteifungsringen (5) eingebracht sind, wobei die Versteifungselemente als Stützringe (5) ausgebildet sind, aus einem leichten Werkstoff bestehen und in den Walzenmantel (2) eingeklebt sind. <IMAGE>
