Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1447366A2] The concertina folding process is applied to endless webs of foldable material with equidistant grooves, moving at a set feed rate. To lay one sector on top of another, the web is lifted by a carrier at the position of every other transverse fold. This, combined with the continuing feed at the set rate, folds the material as required.
