The wheels (1,2) are made from a solid matrix with a number of flow channels (21) in which deflection of the flow and the associated pressure increase take place to reduce flow noise and to improve the characteristic stability between the inlet and outlet flow cross-sections. The solid matrix is made non-isotropically from separate segments through which the flow channels are formed.

Die Erfindung betrifft Lauf- und Leiträder (1,2) für Strömungsmaschinen, insbesondere für Verdichter und Ventilatoren, wobei diese zur Verringerung von Strömungsgeräuschen und zur Verbesserung der Kennlinienstabilität zwischen dem Ein- und dem Austrittsquerschnitt für die Strömung aus einer Feststoffmatrix mit einer Vielzahl von Strömungskanälen (21) gebildet werden, in welchen eine Umlenkung der Strömung und die damit verbundene Druckerhöhung erfolgt. <IMAGE>
