Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1447625A1] The cooker top has a grill plate (12) with grilling surface (14) and a surrounding region (16) of low thermal conductivity and one or more ceramic and/or induction top plates (13) containing hobs (20, 22). A stainless steel frame (24) runs round the entire top to hold the top plates and grill plate together without a joint, to form a single unity.
