[origin: EP1447820A1] Flexible electrical lead for towing chains. Flexible electrical lead for towing chains comprises at least one wire (1), consisting of a flexible electrical conductor (2), surrounded by an insulating layer and, over this layer, a plastic coating (5). The insulating layer consists of a soft inner layer (3), in contact with (1) and made of modified polypropylene (PP) and, surrounding (3), a firmly adherent outer layer (4) of hard PP or PP-containing material. The new feature is that the inner layer (3) is foamed.
