[origin: WO03042281A1] The invention relates to a method for producing polyether alcohols by catalytically adding alkylene oxides to H-functional starting substances while using amines as catalysts. The inventive method is characterized in that addition of the amines to the reaction mixture ensues at least one more time before or at the beginning of the addition of alkylene oxides and over the course of the reaction, whereby the repeated addition of catalysts ensues at the point of reaction, at which an intense sequence of secondary reactions occurs, and/or when changing the alkylene oxides in the polyether chain.
