[origin: WO03046670A1] The invention relates to a multifunctional clock (1, 20) comprising a clockwork (22) and a display device (2, 21) for displaying the time, and comprising a visual stimulator (6, 26) and an acoustic stimulator (7, 23, 24). The multifunctional clock (1, 20) has a programmable reminder unit (8, 25) that enables a visual and/or acoustic signal of the respective stimulator (2, 6, 21, 26) to be initiated at a user-defined time or at a number of user-defined times, whereby at least one stimulator (2, 6, 21, 26) can be individualized and exchanged. The clock can thereby be completely adapted to the individual needs of a user. The multifunctional clock (1, 20) can fulfill a motivation function by positively stimulating the user.
