[origin: EP1449619A1] Process for roughening at least one surface of an object comprises aiming a stream of abrasive particles onto the surface through a liquid layer (20) formed on the surface. An independent claim is also included for a device used for carrying out the above process. Preferred Features: The abrasive particles are sand. The abrasive particles are moved in a gas or liquid stream. The object is a pane, especially a glass pane held on both sides by liquid layers.
