Abstract (en)
The assembly (10) to wrap a product roll (13,14), with a stretch plastics film, wraps the two end surfaces (33,34) and a mantle surface (32) of the roll. The film is unwound from a film head (12), with spatial movements on a robot arm carrier (11) through an automated and computer-assisted positioning system. The swing axis of the carrier is on a straight line at right angles to the roll center axis at the center point of the roll, independent of the product roll dimensions. The film head has a unit to establish the size and position of the product roll.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum automatischen, computergestützten Umwickeln wenigstens einer in einer Aufnahme- und Antriebseinrichtung um eine Tragachse drehbar gelagerten, mit zwei Stirnflächen und einer Mantelfläche versehenen, zylindrischen Produktrolle mit einer Kunststoff-Stretchfolie, wobei die Folie auf einem raumbeweglichen Folienkopf angeordnet ist. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Vorrichtung bzw. ein Verfahren zu schaffen, mit dem eine verbesserte Genauigkeit des Verpackungsvorgangs sowie eine höhere Kapazität und größere Flexibilität in Bezug auf unterschiedliche Produktrollenabmessungen erreicht wird. Die Aufgabe wird gelöst, indem die den Folienkopf steuernde Tragvorrichtung in einer unveränderbaren Position zur in der Aufnahme- und Antriebseinrichtung angeordneten Produktrolle schwenkbar gelagert ist, dass sich die Schwenkachse der Tragvorrichtung unabhängig von der Größe der Produktrolle auf einer rechtwinklig zur Rollenmittelachse im Bereich des Rollenmittelpunktes angeordneten Geraden befindet sowie mittels der in den Ansprüchen aufgeführten Verfahrensschritte. <IMAGE>
