[origin: EP1449807A1] Load-carrying device for conveying equipment comprises one or two fork arms and is telescopic. The load-carrying device has an adjusting body (7) completely or partly surrounding an inner body (6) and locked by a locking element (13) on the inner body in at least two positions. The locking element is released by an eternally accessible actuating element spatially separate from the locking element. The locking element is moved by the actuating element. The locking element is assigned to the inner body and in the locking position passes through the inner body in the adjusting body. Preferred Features: A control body (16) connected to the actuating element releases the locking element. The control body lies in direct contact with the locking element.
