Device for holding a WC deodorant is in the form of a hook for attaching to the upper edge of a toilet bowl and consists of a first arm (10) extending downward from the upper edge of the toilet bowl on the inner side and to which a WC deodorant is attached, a second arm (50) extending downward from the upper edge of the toilet bowl on the outer side, and an intermediate part (30) lying on the upper edge of the toilet bowl and connecting the first and the second arm. Devices (32) are provided for adjusting the width of the holding device and/or devices (12) are provided for adjusting the length of the first arm. Preferred Features: The intermediate part is provided with the devices for adjusting the width of the holding device.

Eine Haltevorrichtung für ein WC-Deodorant (2) hat die Form eines an dem oberen Rand eines WC-Beckens anbringbaren Hakens. Sie umfasst einen ersten Schenkel (10), der sich an der Innenseite des WC-Beckens von dem oberen Rand im wesentlichen nach unten erstreckt und an dem ein WC-Deodorant (2) anbringbar ist, einen zweiten Schenkel (50), der sich an der Außenseite des WC-Beckens von dem oberen Rand im wesentlichen nach unten erstreckt, und ein Zwischenstück (30) zum Verbinden des ersten und des zweiten Schenkels (10; 50) miteinander, wobei das Zwischenstück (30) im wesentlichen auf dem oberen Rand des WC-Beckens aufliegt. Die Haltevorrichtung weist außerdem Vorrichtungen (32) zum Verstellen der Breite der Haltevorrichtung und/oder Vorrichtungen (12) zum Verstellen der Länge des ersten Schenkels (10) auf. Die Verstellvorrichtungen (12, 32) können ein Gleitschiebeelement (13, 33), ein Rasterschiebeelement (13a, 33a) und/oder eine Noppen-Loch-Verbindung (13b, 33b) aufweisen und/oder aus gefalteten Verbindungselementen (45) gebildet sein, die eine ziehharmonikaartige Bewegung ausführen können. <IMAGE>
