Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1449988A2] Catch module for window and/or door mountings comprises a housing with a circular recess (36) and a rotor element rotatably mounted in the recess and having a polygonal recess for receiving a polygonal rod of a handle module (16) having an operating handle (22) and a fixing base (20), and catch devices acting between the housing and the rotor element. The catch module is a separate construction unit to the handle module and during assembly between the fixing base and a mounting-side gear unit it is connected in a form-locking manner to the handle module via the polygonal rod engaging in the polygonal recess. Preferred Features: The housing has fixing blocks (38) on its side facing the handle module for positioning relative to a leaf frame (10).
