Abstract (en)
Fixing system (9) for fixing an exhaust manifold to an internal combustion engine comprises a bolt (11) having a first end for fixing to the engine, and a sleeve (13) having an internal diameter that is greater than the external diameter of the bolt. A first end of the sleeve is supported on a flange (7) of the exhaust manifold and a second end of the sleeve is supported on an abutment (35) attached to a second end of the bolt. The thermal expansion coefficient of the material of the bolt is greater than the thermal expansion coefficient of the material of the sleeve. Independent claims are also included for: (1) Internal combustion engine arrangement comprising an exhaust manifold fixed to an internal combustion engine using the above fixing system; and (2) Process for fixing an exhaust manifold to an internal combustion engine. Preferred Features: The bolt is made of austenitic steel. The sleeve is made of a ferritic alloyed or non-alloyed steel.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Befestigungssystem (9) zum Festlegen eines Auspuffkrümmers (5) an einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine (1), wobei das Befestigungssystem (9) umfasst: einen Bolzen (11) mit einem zur Befestigung an der Verbrennungskraftmaschine ausgebildeten ersten Ende, eine Hülse (13) mit einem Innendurchmesser, welcher größer ist als ein Außendurchmesser des Bolzens(11), wobei ein erstes Ende der Hülse (13) zur Abstützung an einem Flansch (7) des Auspuffkrümmers (5) vorgesehen ist und ein zweites Ende der Hülse (13) zur Abstützung an einem widerlager (35) vorgesehen ist, welches an einem zweiten Ende des Bolzens (11) anbringbar ist, und wobei ein Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizient eines Materials des Bolzens (11) größer ist als ein Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizient eines Materials der Hülse (13). <IMAGE>
