[origin: EP1450313A2] Method for capturing votes made with electronic voting units (3), whereby in a voting server (1), voting right (5) and identification (6) records are stored. In a vote the identification record (13) transmitted by a voter is compared with a stored identification record. If the two match a transmitted voting record (12) is associated with the corresponding voting right and identification records. The invention also relates to a corresponding device for method implementation.
