Abstract (en)
An alarm indicator system has at least one self-sufficient alarm (2) with a sensor (208) which detects one or several environmental parameters, and at least one evaluation or receiver station which receives the alarm signal and evaluates or indicates. The alarm indicator (2) is coupled to at least one acoustic signal transmitter (201), which converts the alarm signal into an acoustic alarm signal (AL), and at least one self-sufficient receiver is spaced from the alarm (2) but remains in its acoustic range and the acoustic alarm signal is relayed directly or via an intermediate station to the evaluation- or reception-station (Z). An independent claim is also included for an alarm indicator for use in an alarm indication system.

In dem Gefahrenmeldesystem ist mindestens ein autarker Melder (2) zur Erkennung und Auswertung eines Gefahrenzustandes und eine davon entfernte Auswertestation (Z) vorgesehen, an die ein von dem Melder erzeugtes Alarmsignal übertragen wird. Die Übertragung dieses Alarmsignals erfolgt zumindest teilweise über einen akustischen Übertragungsweg, wobei ein mit dem Melder verbundener akustischer Signalgeber (21) ein akustisches Alarmsignal (AL) aussendet und mindestens ein akustischer autarker Empfänger (3;12-2) entfernt von dem Melder (2), jedoch in akustischer Reichweite von diesem angeordnet ist und das akustische Alarmsignal direkt oder über eine Zwischenstation an die Auswertestation (Z) weiterleitet. <IMAGE>
