[origin: EP1450444A2] The device has two socket sections (10,12) arranged in series in the plugging direction for receiving respective flat plug contacts, whereby the first socket section has a first accommodation space with a cross-slit shaped cross-section and the second has a contact slit (38) as an accommodation space for a flat plug contact extending transversely to the plugging direction and with a contact path along the contact slit.
