[origin: WO03045194A1] An electrical motor furniture drive system (2) for the relative adjustment of parts of a piece of furniture comprises at least one drive unit (4, 6), connected to a component of the piece of furniture for adjustment in the assembled state thereof, control means (10) for controlling the drive unit (4, 6) and power supply means for the drive unit (4, 6), whereby said power supply means comprises a transformer (14). The furniture drive (2) further comprises a mains breaker unit (18), by means of which at least the drive unit (4, 6) can be isolated. According to the invention, the control means (10) together with the mains breaker unit (18) and/or with the transformer (14) are housed in a common housing (26) spatially separate from the drive unit (4, 6) and connected to the drive unit (4, 6) by means of control and electrical supply lines (22, 24).
