[origin: EP1452116A1] A cross-bore (7) for receiving a pin (6) is provided in the bottom of a blind-drilled hole (4) in the wall bracket (1). The lower face of the hinge bolt in contact with the pin contains a cavity with a profile corresponding to the diameter or surface configuration of the pin and this cavity receives the pin when the door is lowered and the hinge bolt is rotated about its length axis (5) in the lowered, closed position of the door. The pin is released from this cavity by swinging the door to rotate the bolt through an angle into an open position. This angle, which corresponds to the extended opening width of thedoor is adjustable. The door part of the hinge for the wall bracket contains a bore for receiving the bolt head and the position of the bore relative to the bolt surface can be altered using screws. The fitting includes a movable door part and a fixed wall or door frame part. Upper and lower wall brackets in contact with the door each contain a blind-drilled hole on the door pivot axis to enable the door to be lifted and lowered into place when being hung.
