Abstract (en)
The method involves pulling out defined lengths (7) of cable from a cable roll (1), winding these into coils (3) and fixing (12) them as coils. The free leading cable end is taken up by a gripper (11) and the winding device winds a cable run of a defined length while the leading cable end is held by the gripper. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for machine manufacture of coil-less cable windings.
