Abstract (en)
An extending trim strip for the outer edge of a sun awning is fitted to a reel (4) behind the front profile strip (3) of the awning. The reel is driven by an electric motor powered by rechargeable batteries. The batteries are automatically recharged when the awning is reeled into the storage position. The charging connection is either via contacts (6, 7) or via induction thereby eliminating poor contact through corrosion etc. The trim strip drive can be operated by a hand held remote control.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen ausfahrbaren Sonnenschutz, insbesondere Markise mit einem Ausfallprofil (3), an dem eine flexible Sonnenschutzfläche (2), insbesondere ein Tuch befestigt ist, wobei am Ausfallprofil ein motorisch ausfahrbarer Volant (5) befestigt ist, wobei dass der Volant-Motor von einem Akkumulator gespeist wird, der im oder am Ausfallprofil (3) befestigt ist und bei eingefahrenem Sonnenschutz (2) mit einer Stromquelle zum Aufladen verbindbar ist. <IMAGE>
