Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1452677A2] A ratchet grip for a door or window with universal fitting has a ratchet plate (18), with ratchet profiles (20, 22, 24) along one edge, fitted to the movable frame of the door/window and engaged by a locking stub (16) fitted to the driver strip (14) of the locking mechanism. The plate is secured with one end and has an elastic grip with the cylindrical stub. The stub has an eccentric assembly to provide a fine adjustment for the ratchet grip. The plate is further adjustable along the driver strip.
