[origin: WO03047880A1] A device serving for, at use, removing wallpaper (22) attached to a wall (23) by means of an adhesive (27). The device comprises a holder (9) having at least one bearing (11), a shaft (14) rotatably received in the at least one bearing of the holder and having a shaft end (15), a motor for rotating the shaft at use, and a milling cutter (30;37;38;41) mounted on the shaft end and arranged to make holes in the wallpaper by means of cutting edges (24;42) to allow water to penetrate and dissolve the adhesive. The device is especially suited for making relatively large holes in woodchip wallpaper quickly and effectively.
