Abstract (en)
[origin: WO03099662A1] A packaging machine is provided with a transfer device, by means of which a product (P) can be inserted into a packaging (V), and with a revolving pamphlet conveying device (27). Said conveying device comprises a multitude of pincer-like holders (15, 16), which are arranged in a row and provided for holding one pamphlet (22, 23) at a time, and enables the pamphlet to be brought between the product (P) and the packaging (V) in the area of the transfer device thereby permitting the pamphlet to be inserted with the product into the packaging. An opening unit (12) having a number of independently actuatable stops (13, 14) are arranged in the path of conveyance of the holders (15, 16) and serves to open the holders (15, 16) in order to release the pamphlet (22, 23). The stops (13, 14) can be placed in an inactive position, in which the holders (15, 16) pass by the stops (13, 14) without releasing the pamphlet. The invention provides that the pamphlet conveying device (27) has first holders (15), which are to be opened by a first stop (13), and has second holders (16), which are to be opened by a second stop (14). In addition, holders (15, 16) that are arranged in a row interact with and are to be opened by different stops (13, 14).
