[origin: US2005042563A1] The present invention relates to an electronic ignition circuit for oil burners, in particular a high voltage high frequency ignition circuit, said circuit comprising an oscillator and a high frequency high voltage transformer wound on a core. The core on which the high frequency transformer is wound forms a substantially closed magnetic path for the magnetic flux generated by the windings of the transformer, when current flows through the windings.
