Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1454548A1] A waterproof shoe has a sole with a lining in the upper foot section. The upper section has an inner sock that is waterproof but water vapor permeable. The sock (2) has longitudinal slit in the sole, terminating each side in a lip that extends through a matching slit in the shoe insole (4).
